If you don\u2019t, the insurance policy won\u2019t protect you if there is a lawsuit in the future.<\/p><p>There are, however, situations where it makes sense to not file a claim. Having a \u2018no-claims\u2019 insurance record can help to reduce the amount of insurance you pay each year.<\/p><p>If nobody has been hurt and you\u2019re not sure whether you want to file a claim, read<a href=\"https:\/\/nesika.ca\/should-i-submit-a-claim\/\"><strong> this special report <\/strong><\/a>before you make that decision.<\/p><p>As your independent agent, we\u2019ll do our best to make your claim experience a smooth one.<\/p><ul data-rte-list=\"default\"><li><p>If you have a homeowners or tenants policy, please <strong>contact your insurance company directly to put them on notice of the claim.<\/strong> We will then be notified of your claim by the insurance company.<\/p><\/li><li><p>If you have a floating home, commercial, or a vessel claim please <a href=\"tel:6044489196\"><strong>call 604-448-9196<\/strong><\/a> or <a href=\"mailto:info@nesika.ca?subject=New Claim Notice\"><strong>email us at info@nesika.ca<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and we will go through the process of getting the details and putting in the loss notice to the insurer with you<\/p><\/li><li><p>After your claim is processed, we will follow-up with you to ask about your experience and make sure you were treated well.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>If you think you\u2019re not being treated fairly, need some help along the way, or want to share your positive experience with us, just let us know!
