Making a Claim

 We’re sorry if you’ve suffered an accident or have a claim on your insurance policy. That’s why you have insurance, to protect you when something bad happens. We’ll guide you on every step along the way.

Should you file this claim?

If somebody has been hurt as a result of the accident, you must file a claim even if you don’t think that it’s serious or they say there’s no need. If you don’t, the insurance policy won’t protect you if there is a lawsuit in the future.

There are, however, situations where it makes sense to not file a claim. Having a ‘no-claims’ insurance record can help to reduce the amount of insurance you pay each year.

  • If you have a homeowners or tenants policy, please contact your insurance company directly to put them on notice of the claim. We will then be notified of your claim by the insurance company.

  • If you have a floating home, commercial, or a vessel claim please call 604-448-9196 or email us at and we will go through the process of getting the details and putting in the loss notice to the insurer with you

  • After your claim is processed, we will follow-up with you to ask about your experience and make sure you were treated well.
